Job Title

A seasoned cybersecurity leader is sought to oversee regional executive-level support for information security programs and initiatives. This includes managing daily operations of the India Information Security team based in Gurgaon.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with global leadership to maintain a comprehensive security strategy aligned with business objectives, provide executive-level support for regional security risk assessments, and ensure adequate resourcing for security team operations.

This senior position offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic growth while ensuring the highest level of security for our organization.

  • Global Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with Global Information Security leadership to implement a comprehensive security strategy, support regional executive leadership to ensure adequate resourcing for security team operations, and provide executive-level support for regional security risk assessment activities.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the Cvent India Information Security team, foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, and ensure effective coordination and communication between teams.
  • Application & Cloud Security: Provide oversight and support for adoption of secure architecture design, software and infrastructure threat modeling, vulnerability management, and full-stack security hardening.
  • Security Operations: Provide technical oversight and support for 24/7 security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, and threat intelligence capabilities.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Oversee compliance with industry standards and regulations, third-party vendor risk assessment and risk treatment activities, and contribute to the development and maintenance of information security policies.
