Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description

This is a position of elevated responsibility, primarily focused on managing the flow of payments and invoices from vendors and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor payments to ensure timely booking and passing of payment entries, maintaining statutory compliance at all times.
  • Support internal audit requirements by providing necessary details and data.
  • Maintain expertise in vendor reconciliation to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
  • Process customer billing, including E-waybill generation, based on data received from departments.
  • Prepare monthly closing reports using knowledge of financial software and systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel to facilitate data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with a focus on optimizing processes and automating workflows.
  2. Strong understanding of Accounts Payable/Receivable processes, including exposure to workflow management tools and technology.
  3. Hands-on experience with vendor payments, reconciliations, and day-to-day transactional accounting.
  4. Proven track record of coordinating with auditors and supporting audit requirements.
