Job Title: Vehicle Dynamics Engineer

Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Dynamics Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, build, and analyze finite element models for crash and durability simulations using ANSA as preprocessor, LS Dyna for crash load cases, Abacus for durability evaluation, Animator/Hyper works for postprocessing.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Maintain a strong understanding of body-in-white (BIW) manufacturing processes, including stamping, spot welding, assembly, material models, and physics of crash and durability.
  4. Deliver high-quality results with minimal support and maintain a high level of technical expertise.
  5. Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automobile Engineering, and 3-6 years of experience in meshing, module building, and high-speed crash analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automobile Engineering.
  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Meshing, Module build for Crash &/ Durability, High speed crash analysis &/ Durability analysis.
  • Strong understanding of BIW manufacturing processes such as stamping, spot welding, Assembly, Material models and Physics of Crash &/Durability.
  • Proficiency in ANSA as preprocessor, LS Dyna for Crash load case &/ Abacus for Durability evaluation , Animator/Hyper works for postprocessing.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work deliver the FE model set up to load case Analysis report independently or with minimal support.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Work Environment:

  • Work will be performed in an office setting with occasional travel to client sites.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and sit for extended periods.
