Cab Climate System Engineer

We are seeking a skilled system engineer to join our Thermal Management Team as a Cab Climate System Engineer. As a system engineer, you will be responsible for defining climate functions with close interaction with thermal engineers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining climate functions with close interaction with thermal engineers
  • Supporting and setting performance targets at individual component level to various components developed by component owners
  • Interacting with simulation analysts to analyze cooling & heating system performance virtually
  • Planning and connecting with full vehicle testing team for heating & cooling performance verification
  • Verifying heating system test outcome and recommending necessary actions to make the system run according to set requirements in EPIC pre-requisites
  • Sicherinhving vehicle legal and certification requirements from heating & cooling system

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Thermal/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or similar with more than 10 years of experience
  • Experience in the field of Thermal Management system engineering CAB Climate
  • In-depth knowledge of product development life cycle and change management activities for maintenance
  • Developing robust time plans and roadmaps for the system according to project milestones and validating the design through virtual and physical verifications
  • Solid hands-on experience in developing and testing cooling, heating systems and solutions
  • Collaborating with mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, software, simulation and data engineers to integrate cooling & heating systems

This is a cross-functional role, which means you will work in projects within the whole organization and collaborate with global teams.
