Job Title: Technical Expert - IBM iSeries Development

About Us:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM iSeries system development, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement complex applications using IBM iSeries RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment)
  • Design and optimize database structures using DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling)
  • Ensure seamless integration of systems using iSeries system integration technologies (e.g. API, MQ, XML, FTP)
  • Collaborate with global teams to drive project delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years' hands-on experience in IBM iSeries system development
  • Expertise in Agile software development methodology and DevSecOps technologies such as CI/CD and tools like Jenkins, Ansible, G3 etc.
  • Strong understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills
  • Custody domain knowledge is desired but not a must
  • Familiarity with Java/Python for hybrid application development will be an advantage
