The position involves leading application security efforts by providing expertise in secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and remediation. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading teams and integrating security into software development life cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough secure code reviews using static (SAST) and dynamic (DAST) application security testing methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts and tools for automation of security processes.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate security into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments using industry-leading tools such as Qualys WAS and ArmorCode.
  • Analyze and remediate complex security issues in web applications and APIs.
  • Maintain and enhance security dashboards and reporting mechanisms to ensure timely identification and resolution of security threats.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficient in Python programming for automation and tool development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis and security testing of database interactions.
  • Understanding of web technologies, frameworks, and architecture.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate and drive growth.
  • Good knowledge of software configuration management systems.
  • Awareness of latest technologies and industry trends.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with excellent collaboration abilities.
