Hotel Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the engineering department, ensuring the smooth operation of all hotel systems and services.

  • About You:
  • You have a strong background in hotel engineering, with experience in managing maintenance operations, budgeting, and supervising a team.
  • You are a problem solver, able to work well under pressure and have excellent communication skills.
  • You are familiar with industry standards and best practices for hotel engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Property Operations:
  • Manage the physical plant, including equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all engineering departmental policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Financial Management:
  • Manage departments controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Team Supervision:
  • Supervise engineers and other staff members as required.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Guest Services:
  • Handle guest problems and complaints effectively.
  • Empower employees to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in hotel engineering, preferably in a management role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
