Market Data Management Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Market Data Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of market data services. With 7-12 years of relevant experience, you'll be instrumental in optimizing market data usage, analyzing vendor contracts, and supporting cost reduction initiatives within a dynamic capital markets environment.

This role requires a deep understanding of market data vendors, strong analytical skills for cost tracking, usage analysis, and reporting, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders from different departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of market data services, encompassing sourcing, licensing, entitlements, renewals, and decommissioning.
  2. Perform comprehensive vendor contract analysis and actively support cost reduction initiatives through usage optimization, contract consolidation, and service rationalization.
  3. Provide oversight and administration of third-party market data, including contract management, invoicing, and ensuring audit and legal compliance.
  4. Understand and assist in analysis related to purchasing and supplier performance to identify trends and potential issues within market data procurement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of relevant experience in market data management specifically within capital markets or investment banking environments.
  • Strong knowledge of market data vendors and services.
