Junior Product Development Specialist

The role of a Junior Product Development Specialist is critical in the manufacturing process. Key responsibilities include creating part numbers for bill of materials, downloading customer documents and releasing them in CDC work as change analysts during new product introduction. Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for managing engineering changes efficiently across various manufacturing sites globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing efficient processes to manage engineering changes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product updates and modifications
  • Providing excellent communication skills to respond to queries from business partners and customers regarding engineering change orders
  • Ensuring adherence to established targets for key performance metrics
  • Leading by example and providing guidance and support to team members as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field with up to 2 years of experience in NPI/ECO engineering in a manufacturing setup
  • Hands-on experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Engineering Change Order (ECO) management, Bill of Materials (BOM) management and proficiency in PLM software linked to ECO process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
