Lead Accounting Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Accounting Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading project initiatives across corporate accounting, consolidation based on IFRS, and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the activity dashboard with respect to various group activities
  • Constantly monitor various requests coming through different communication channels
  • Monitor transactions interfaced between ERPs and fix/flag issues accordingly
  • Collate information from different teams and communicate with client team on a timely basis
  • Review reconciliation results, regular reports, and ad-hoc requests prepared by team
  • Generate regular as well as ad-hoc analysis/reports based on client/team requests
  • Improve current set of reports and proactively work with team/other counterparts to add value
  • Work along with other teams within the larger project group in special projects

Domain Skills:

  1. Consolidation of financial statements as per IFRS and related reporting
  2. Understand group structure and review relevant consolidation adjustment entries
  3. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted operating expenses
  4. Review results of transaction reconciliations in Intercompany, control accounts, Bank, and others

Technical / Behavioral Skills:

  • Good working knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power point; VBA programming knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Good working knowledge of PowerBI
  • Exposure to business software applications such as SAP, business dynamics, and others
  • Good written / verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively to meet client stakeholder expectations on consistent basis
  • Taking ownership of tasks and working with clear focus to meet timelines based on SLA requirements
