Job Title: Database Architect

Are you a seasoned database professional with expertise in administration, maintenance, and optimization of large-scale databases? Do you have strong skills in query tuning and performance optimization?

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize large-scale databases (up to 2TB).
  • Develop and implement query optimization, database tuning, and indexing strategies for high-performance applications.
  • Design and monitor database backup, recovery, and failover strategies.
  • Manage database security, roles, and access privileges.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.

Mandatory Skills:

  • PostgreSQL DBA expertise (8+ years).
  • Strong experience in performance optimization & query tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and open-source environments.
  • Proven work with timesqldb and related toolkit utilities.
  • Ability to handle large databases (up to 2TB).

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of replication, partitioning, and clustering.
  • Experience in automation and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools.
