About the Role

This full-time on-site position as an Admissions Officer at Global Student Centre in Vimannagar, Pune, offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with great communication skills and previous experience in overseas education to facilitate student admissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist students in selecting suitable study abroad programs that align with their academic requirements and objectives.
  • Advise applicants regarding eligibility for various study abroad programs.
  • Develop written materials outlining policies and procedures, program descriptions, financial aid, credit transfer, and academic considerations.
  • Organize and conduct orientation meetings and informational sessions to recruit students.
  • Provide guidance to students, graduates, and faculty about intensive language study abroad.
  • Serve as a resource to students, parents, the University community, and others regarding study abroad programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Respond to questions from participants or their parents and resolve problems as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Prior experience in International Admissions and Education.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner, and ability to remain calm during busy periods.
  • An understanding of the International Education sector and courses offered.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with enthusiasm for new opportunities.
  • Well-organized and able to multitask, with good administration and IT skills, and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience providing support to a diverse range of students.
  • Familiarity with key compliance regulations would be beneficial, although comprehensive training will be provided.

Additional Information

The role is a full-time permanent position working from our office in Vimannagar, Pune. We offer a competitive salary: ₹45 lakhs - ₹55 lakhs per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
