Job Title: Loan Operations Specialist

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Lending Services division. This individual will work as an extension to our US-based client, ensuring we meet applicable Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Loan Documentation Review: Analyze and interpret commercial loan documentation, identifying key terms and translating them into the ACBS system of record.
  • Loan Details Input: Enter loan details into the ACBS system, including borrower entities, guarantor entities, rate, repayment, accrual, collateral, etc.
  • Credit Approval Document Understanding: Interpret the Bank's credit approval document and any applicable credit write-up.
  • Complex Loan Analysis: Analyze complex loan structures and complex loan documentation, including large syndicated transactions.
  • Client Servicing: Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all servicing-related activities for the bank's direct/bilateral/syndicated loan portfolio.
  • ACBS System Management: Monitor and perform ACBS system input as needed for the timely administration of rate options, borrowing base adjustments, reduction to revolver schedules, and facility utilization changes.
  • Collaboration with Agent Bank: Collaborate with the agent bank to balance and resolve any issues within the portfolio.
  • Daily Research and Maintenance: Receive daily research and maintenance requests from lending officers and clients and perform the necessary analysis and system input required.
  • Reconciliation and Exception Reports: Review and balance daily reconciliation reports for general ledger activity tied to loan servicing and review daily exception reports, determining the necessary monetary and system maintenance required for resolution.
  • Research Requests and Loan Documentation: Perform research requests and analyze loan documentation as part of that research.
  • Client Inquiries: Respond to client inquiries around loan balance, rate information, loan statement questions, advance, and payment inquiries.
