Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data organization, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes through data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Engineering: Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • JSON Expertise: Work extensively with JSON data formats for integration and processing.
  • API Integration: Design, implement payloads/API calls, and work with tools like Postman to facilitate seamless data exchange between services/systems.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to generate actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Legacy System Integration: Review and understand SaS legacy system code to ensure smooth integration and migration processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with organisational standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • SQL Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Data Analysis: Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • JSON and REST API: Hands-on experience with JSON and REST API integration, should be able to work with payloads etc.
  • Legacy Code Understanding: Ability to read and understand SaS legacy code (expert-level knowledge not required).
