Key Responsibilities
  • Data Platform Development: Design and build a self-service data platform for effortless reporting and analytics.
  • Scalable Data Solutions: Leverage Databricks, SQL, Python, Spark, and Delta Lake on Azure to create highly effective data solutions.
  • ETL/ELT and Data Quality: Ensure adherence to best practices for extracting, transforming, and loading data while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with teams to integrate data with tools like Tableau, Power BI, and APIs, driving seamless collaboration.
  • Infrastructure and Monitoring: Manage CI/CD, testing, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring tools to maintain a robust and secure data environment.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in senior roles, showcasing strong leadership skills.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in PySpark, Scala, SQL, Python, and Azure, with Databricks experience preferred.
  • Databricks Integrations: Familiarity with Databricks integrations like Delta Live Tables and Auto Loader is essential.
  • Pandas and NumPy: Possess a deep understanding of Pandas and NumPy libraries.
