Study Abroad Counsellor Position

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Study Abroad Counsellor to lead our overseas education initiatives. As part of our team, you will be responsible for guiding students through the complex process of studying abroad, providing expert advice on course selection, university choices, and visa requirements.

The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with students, parents, and educational institutions. A thorough understanding of international education systems, admission processes, and visa regulations is essential.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in counselling students for study opportunities in countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, or Schengen Countries. They will also have excellent persuasion and relationship-building skills, with a customer-centric approach and target-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Counsel students on study abroad options, including courses, universities, and countries.
  • Guide students through the complete admission process, including application forms, SOPs, LORs, and documentation.
  • Provide accurate information on universities, programs, scholarships, and eligibility criteria.
  • Support students with visa guidance, financial documentation, and interview preparation.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions.
Requirements:
  • 1–2 years of experience as a Study Abroad/Overseas Education Counsellor.
  • Strong knowledge of international education systems and admission processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple applications and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience in counselling for USA, UK, Canada, Australia, or Schengen Countries.
  • Strong persuasion and relationship-building skills.
  • Target-driven with a customer-centric approach.
