Career Guidance Counselor for International Education

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in counseling students on admissions to universities and colleges in the UK, USA, Canada, or ANZ/Europe. They will possess a deep understanding of various courses and career options across various disciplines and be able to guide students on the best course option based on their profile and career interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counseling Students: Conduct online telephonic and/or virtual counseling sessions with students interested in studying abroad, providing them with expert advice and guidance on course selection, university choices, and application procedures.
  • Guidance on Course Options: Help students understand different courses and career options available in the UK, USA, Canada, or ANZ/Europe, taking into account their academic background, interests, and career aspirations.
  • Assisting with University Applications: Assist students in preparing and filing their applications to universities and colleges in the desired locations, ensuring that all necessary documents and information are provided.
  • VISA Support: Guide students through the visa application process, ensuring that they meet all requirements and deadlines.
  • Educational Activities: Participate in educational activities such as exhibitions and events, promoting international education opportunities and engaging with students, parents, and educators.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in counseling students on admissions to universities and colleges in the UK, USA, Canada, or ANZ/Europe.
  • Knowledge: Sound knowledge of various courses and career options across various disciplines, including Diploma, Bachelors, Post-Graduation diploma, and Masters degrees in the desired locations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educators, and strong organizational and time management skills.
