Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the Trade Support Manager role, focusing on financial services and derivatives operations. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in trade processing and reconciliation.

This position requires expertise in ensuring accurate trade processing, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and investigating breaks or discrepancies.

  • Reconcile traders' risk products and positions with the firm's books and records, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Perform broker reconciliations, resolving exceptions through effective communication with Sales, Traders, or Brokers.
  • Manage trade compression activities for capital optimization and oversee industry processes such as LCH, Trioptima, CME, and coupon blends.
  • Monitor and process structured notes' lifecycle events, including rate fixings, coupon payments, and final redemptions.
  • Investigate realized cash flow breaks and ensure smooth trade flow by monitoring system error queues.
  • Produce and distribute exception reports requiring action from various teams.
  • Perform trade allocations, rate resets, rate fixings, notices, and amendments.
  • Reconcile upstream and downstream systems to guarantee complete and accurate trade processing.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional OTC Middle Office Teams, Business Units, IT, and support functions for effective controls and timely issue resolution.

Requirements

  • A deep understanding of OTC derivatives and fixed income derivative products (CDS, Interest Rate Swaps, FX).
  • Strong experience in trade support and derivatives operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve complex breaks and exceptions.
