Job Title: Senior Executive Information Technology

The position of senior executive information technology requires a strong leader who can oversee daily IT operations and provide advanced technical support for hardware and software issues.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with administering Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy) and strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, Firewalls, Routers, Switches).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily IT operations, including network availability, server performance, and system uptime.
  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware and software issues for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Implement and manage software deployment, updates, and patching across the university's systems.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
  • Working knowledge of MAC PCs will be an advantage.
