Job Title: Financial Data SpecialistDescription:

The primary objective of this role is to possess strong experience in financial reporting, specifically in journals, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations. A thorough understanding of revenue accounting, property plant and equipment, variance analysis, trial balance, and balance sheet commentary is also crucial.

  • Experience with core accounting principles, accounting standards, and GAAP.
  • Expert knowledge on Revenue Accounting, Property Plant and Equipment, Variance Analysis, Trial Balance, and Balance Sheet Commentary.
  • Hands-on experience with journal entries, month-end activities, book close, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP and Oracle, as well as balance sheet tools such as Blackline and Trintech.
  • Ability to use systems, entering/validating data into relevant systems, and ensuring data quality in line with defined SLAs.
  • Exposure to process improvements and RCA.
  • Provide accurate and timely responses and communication with clients, responding to queries and requests as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
  1. Perform core financial tasks including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and reporting.
  2. Maintain proficiency in accounting standards and GAAP.
  3. Conduct variance analysis and review trial balances.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly and year-end tasks.

Secondary skills required include:

  • ERP end-user experience.
  • MS Office skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
