Job Description:

As a seasoned professional, you will lead and grow our PLM IT Services Practice. This role demands deep domain expertise, exceptional leadership skills, customer relationship acumen, and strong business savvy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building strategic capabilities, driving innovation, scaling delivery, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Develop a comprehensive strategic roadmap for the PLM practice in alignment with company goals.
  • Establish, manage, and scale practice capabilities including people, solutions, tools, and processes.
  • Implement technical and delivery excellence within the practice.
  • Enhance the PLM practice by developing offerings, reusable assets, and capabilities.
  • Oversee multiple projects within the practice with minimal dependency on top management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 15 to 25 years of experience in IT services with at least 5 years in Project/Practice Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling practices or Centers of Excellence (COEs).
  • Optional: Strong background in one or more PLM platforms (e.g., 3DEXPERIENCE, Aras Innovator, Windchill, Teamcenter).
  • Deep delivery and people management experience across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and demonstrated executive presence.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Engineering or Technology graduate; MBA preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to define and execute go-to-market strategies.
  2. Support pre-sales activities including proposals, RFPs/RFIs, and customer presentations.
  3. Drive account mining and expansion opportunities within key client accounts.
  4. Build and maintain strong C-level relationships with strategic customers.
  5. Understand financial KPIs and actively drive profitability and growth targets.
Delivery Oversight:
  • Ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of all projects within the practice.
  • Implement robust governance frameworks, conduct regular reviews, and manage escalations.
  • Define and monitor delivery KPIs and SLAs to ensure consistent performance.
  • Manage services project delivery with strong customer management and satisfaction focus.
Capability Building:
  • Identify future skill requirements and proactively build internal competencies through training, mentoring, and hiring.
  • Collaborate with HR to attract, retain, and develop top PLM talent.
  • Build a scalable organization supported by strong internal processes and IT systems.
  • Manage the talent pyramid effectively — including skills alignment, attrition control, and resource utilization.
Solution Innovation & Thought Leadership:
  • Drive the creation of reusable IP, frameworks, accelerators, and proprietary solutions.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and industry events.
  • Stay ahead of emerging market trends, tools, technologies, and competitor strategies.
