Project Manager for PLM and Windchill Upgrades

We are seeking a skilled project manager to lead the planning and execution of a major global Windchill v13 upgrade project. This is a key role in a strategic program within the healthcare and life sciences industry.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in Project Management, particularly PTC Windchill, and experience leading IT projects in matrixed environments. A deep understanding of PLM platforms, Quality Management Systems, and regulated industries will be essential.

About the Role
  • Lead the planning and execution of a Windchill v13 upgrade, ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans and implementation schedules, incorporating PMBOK standards and stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage change control processes and oversee overall project execution and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Engage with cross-functional teams, including IT, Quality, and Business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  3. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the project, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  4. Validation and Compliance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet regulatory requirements, including FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
  5. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless integration between Windchill and SAP NSP/ECC systems.
  6. Communication: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree + 8 years, or Master's degree + 6 years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of PLM platforms (PTC Windchill), Quality Management Systems, and regulated industries.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
