As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with key clients of an organization. This role involves working closely with clients to identify their business needs and goals, and then helping to develop solutions to meet those needs.
The Business Development Manager acts as a liaison between the clients and the organization, ensuring that the clients receive the best possible service and support. Your goal is to build strong relationships with clients, understand their business needs, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular communication and understanding of their business needs.
- Develop account strategies that align with client business objectives and help achieve their goals.
- Work collaboratively with other teams within the organization to ensure client needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client expectations by ensuring they understand products and services available, what the organization can and cannot do, and realistic timelines.
- Monitor client satisfaction, identify any issues or concerns, and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Negotiate contracts and renewals with clients to ensure both parties are satisfied with terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, including contact information, contract terms, and any issues or concerns.
- Graduate/PG degree in business/marketing or related field with relevant experience of at least 3 years, preferably from the IT Services Industry.
- Proven track record of sales, account management, or customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
