Job Overview

As a Legal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's legal and regulatory affairs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing organization that is redefining the future of digital lending through innovative financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on and draft commercial agreements, including contracts with third-party vendors, service agreements, partnerships, and license agreements.
  • Support general corporate legal matters with a strong understanding of Indian laws and regulations, including corporate governance and group company legal affairs.
  • Develop and maintain standard form agreements and legal databases to streamline contract negotiation and management processes.
  • Lead communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage proactively with regulatory bodies to provide policy advocacy support and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.
  • Ensure all legal and commercial arrangements comply with applicable laws and policies.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A Law Graduate from a recognized university with 3-5 years post-qualification experience, preferably from a law firm.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, M&A, and/or general corporate legal matters is essential.
  • Candidates with prior exposure to debt transactions and the fintech/banking sector will be given preference.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks such as RBI guidelines for NBFCs, SEBI, FEMA, and Companies Act compliance.
  • A proactive legal professional who can collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and engage with regulatory bodies confidently.
