HR Generalist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resource management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • This is a highly visible role that requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for all human resource activities for the organization, including recruitment, training, employee welfare, HR administration, and human resource management.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment:
    Coordinate, negotiate, and liaise with employment and advertising agents on service fee, advertisement recruitment, and interview schedules.
    Conduct interviews up to Senior Executive levels, arrange interviews for management levels, prepare Letter of Offer to selected candidates, and Letter of Rejection to unsuccessful candidates.
    Coordinate with department Head for the yearly manpower budget and proceed with the recruitment as per the budget.
    Conduct Primary Source Verification to the selected candidates.
    Review manpower allocations & requisition.
  • Training:
    Conduct orientation program to new employees.
    Coordinate and liaise with external Consultants on employees' training needs and arrange training schedules for employees.
    Evaluate the effectiveness of the respective training programs by obtaining feedback from employees.
    Employee safety.
  • Welfare:
    Attend to employees' grievances and complaints; provide guidance if necessary.
    Provide feedback to the management to enhance a better and cordial working environment.
    Organize corporate events, and implement staff welfare programs.
    Promote Medhealth programs and other staff welfare-related programs.
  • HR Administration:
    Review, update, and maintain proper filing of insurance policy, HR handbook, company doctors list, performance appraisal form, and training schedules.
    Assist Accountant in planning and preparing annual headcount report and updating the organization chart.
    Review compensation and benefits up to junior designer level.
    May need to draft agreement/contract to overseas and local freelancers.
    Conduct one-on-one appraisal meeting/feedback to the staff.
    Give regular feedback on the implementation of the plan through employee newsletters, email & internal memo.
  • Human Resource Management:
    Involve in yearly manpower planning and expansion.
    Take charge of HR consultancy projects by appointing HR Consultants for specific HR projects and coordinate with department heads and HR Consultants on respective projects.
    Assist in drafting out Annual Letter and Promotion Letter.
    Administer the HR procedures are adhered to.
    Handle monthly payroll.
    Maintain updated staff database.
  • Others:
    Assist PR in licensing, work permit, visa applications when required.
    Request materials required for the department.
    Answer phone queries from staff and patients.
    Prepare monthly reports related to HR as required.
    Initiate organizing Newsletter committee for the hospital.
    Conduct training for HR MS.
    Assist & administer modular system implementation for HR software.
    Prepare & assist staffs requisition for letters (internal & external purpose).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A combination of a Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of human resource experience.
  • Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, federal and state employment and benefit laws, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge in UAE Labor Law and Dubai Health Authority Regulations.
