Technical Support Specialist

Oracle Cerner is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join its team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external clients. Your primary focus will be on resolving technical issues received via phone, ticket, or other electronic means.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve client problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Recognize when to escalate issues using applicable monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Provide technical support to internal employees and outsourcing customers.
- Install and troubleshoot Windows and Mac operating systems, VM, Citrix, and other software applications.
- Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data where answers can be readily obtained.
Requirements:
- Very good communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, and MS Office.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in technical support.
- Able to work in US shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Neutral accent.
- Call handling skills, including proper escalation and ownership of calls.
- Proven track record of identifying and quickly resolving a wide variety of technical issues.
