We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payables Specialist to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and related accounting entries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review vendor invoices, expense reports, and related accounting entries in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vendor information, including contact details and payment history.
- Communicate with vendors and employees to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to invoices or expense reports.
- Perform general ledger transactional processing duties, including journal entries and department work papers.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AP software systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
