Education Policy Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Education Policy Leader. The successful candidate will have a strong background in higher education policy, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop thought leadership papers, reports, and articles on important areas of higher education policy and regulation
  • Interface with regulatory bodies, universities, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to advocate for FICCI's positions
  • Develop strategic partnerships with university leaders and other key stakeholders to advance the interests of FICCI's Higher Education Committee and Taskforces
  • Organize and manage the annual global FICCI Higher Education Summit, including designing the conference program, identifying national and international partners, and managing masterclasses and focused closed-door interactions between industry and academic leaders
  • Work towards generating revenue for the department through sponsorship, delegate participation, and social media branding
Requirements
  • MBA / MBM / MSW / MA - Economics / Social Sciences / Other disciplines
  • 4-12 years of relevant experience in education or other social sectors
  • Excellent presentation skills, Microsoft Office suite proficiency, and ability to analyze and present complex data
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in education or other social sectors
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interface with stakeholders at mid-senior level
  • Ability to manage events, delegations, and conferences, and to coordinate with speakers and delegate mobilization
