Urdu Language Specialist

Job Description

The role involves crafting high-quality written content in Urdu to support the development of AI models. You will evaluate and review human- and AI-generated text, focusing on accuracy, tone, clarity, safety, and cultural alignment.

You will design creative content such as prompts, role-play scenarios, games, and thought experiments to test and challenge AI capabilities. Additionally, you will explore cultural aspects of Urdu language use, including idioms, humor, irony, and traditions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop accurate, engaging, and contextually appropriate written responses in Urdu for various prompts.
  2. Evaluate and review both human- and AI-generated content for accuracy, tone, clarity, safety, and cultural alignment.
  3. Provide detailed linguistic assessments, focusing on style, nuance, bias, clarity, and intent.
  4. Conduct peer reviews of linguistic contributions to maintain consistency and quality.
  5. Design creative content such as prompts, role-play scenarios, games, and thought experiments to test and challenge AI capabilities.
Qualifications
  1. Native or near-native proficiency in Urdu with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  2. Strong English-language communication skills.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in Urdu writing, editing, or content creation with command over tone, style, and genre.
  4. In-depth knowledge of Urdu culture, idioms, humor, and societal nuances.
  5. Experience in linguistics, translation, teaching, or language-related projects preferred.
  6. Ability to analyze and refine text for clarity, engagement, and accuracy.
