Lead Data Assurance Specialist Job Description

The Lead Data Assurance Specialist will oversee the data quality assurance efforts across the organization. This individual will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that data meets organizational standards.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data quality strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Define standards and best practices for data quality assurance processes.
  • Lead efforts to analyze and profile data to identify issues related to accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Establish and enforce data quality assurance processes, including data validation, cleansing, and monitoring.
  • Design and implement data quality checks and controls.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure data quality.

This role requires maintaining documentation on data quality issues, resolutions, and improvements. The successful candidate will also provide guidance on data quality best practices and ensure the team's professional development.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in data quality, test automation, data comparison, and validation.
  • A strong understanding of data structures, databases, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and platforms for profiling, cleansing, and monitoring data.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages for data analysis and validation.

This is a remote full-time position requiring excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have leadership skills to guide and inspire a team focused on data quality.
