Research Professor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a distinguished Research Professor to join our faculty in the Department of Computer Science Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving high-impact research projects, mentoring research scholars, and contributing to our institution's mission of research excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating advanced research projects in Computer Science Engineering, publishing original research in high-impact international journals, and presenting at premier conferences. They will also mentor PhD scholars and research students, guiding their research work and development.

The selected candidate will secure external research funding through grants, consultancy, and collaboration with industry partners. They will facilitate interdisciplinary research and foster collaborations within our institution and with external institutions.

In addition, they will organize workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote research culture. They will provide expert advice on research policy, strategy, and development within the department and institution.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and coordinate advanced research projects in Computer Science Engineering.
  • Publish original research in high-impact international journals.
  • Mentor PhD scholars and research students.
  • Secure external research funding.
  • Foster collaborations within and outside the institution.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

  • PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in research, teaching, or industry.
  • Demonstrated excellence in research through publications in reputed journals and conferences.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale research projects and secure funding.
  • Experience in supervising doctoral research scholars.
  • Strong expertise in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields.

  • Experience in patenting, technology transfer, or entrepreneurship is a plus.
