Job Title: Academic Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished professional to join our team as Associate Dean. This senior leadership role requires a strong academic background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving academic excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing academic programs, leading research initiatives, and promoting faculty development. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of academic programs, supervising academic sessions, and maintaining proper decorum in all classes and labs.

The successful candidate will also assist in curriculum development, coordinate with departments to ensure curricula are up-to-date, and implement protocols prescribed by statutory bodies for examinations. They will work closely with principals and vice-principals to analyze department-wise teaching loads and determine the need for additional teachers.

In addition, they will promote research activities within the faculty, encourage faculty and students to engage in research projects, and publish their work. The associate dean will serve as a member of academic committees, providing input and guidance on agenda items related to faculty for discussion in BOS, Faculty, and Academic Council meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage academic programs and lead research initiatives
  • Supervise academic sessions and maintain proper decorum in all classes and labs
  • Assist in curriculum development and coordinate with departments
  • Implement protocols for examinations and work closely with principals and vice-principals
  • Promote research activities and encourage faculty and students to engage in research projects

Requirements:

  • Masters in Physiotherapy (M.P.T./M.Th.P./M.Pth./M.Sc. P.T.) with fifteen years total experience, including five years experience as Professor (Physiotherapy)
  • Higher qualification like Ph.D. in any discipline of Physiotherapy recognized by the UGC and published work of high standard in peer-reviewed/U.G.C listed journals
