Primary Years Programme Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced education professional to oversee the implementation and enhancement of our Primary Years Programme.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing the PYP curriculum in accordance with IB guidelines, fostering an engaging and student-centered learning environment.
  • This involves collaborating with teachers to ensure effective delivery of the PYP and promoting a culture of inquiry and reflection.
  • The successful applicant will also provide guidance and support for teachers in the development of transdisciplinary units and inquiry-based learning experiences.
  • In addition, they will organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions for staff, engage with parents and the school community to promote understanding of the PYP.
  • The role also involves coordinating and supporting student assessments and maintaining records as per IB requirements, staying updated with IB developments and changes to ensure the school's adherence to IB standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • IB PYP Coordinator training or certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching and a strong understanding of the IB framework, particularly the PYP.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to professional growth.
