Lead Statistical Programmer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Statistical Programmer to provide expert statistical programming support for multiple clinical projects using SAS.

  • The successful candidate will lead the development of statistical programming methodologies, ensure sound methodologies are adopted, and establish proficiency in programming techniques required for clinical trials research.
  • They will develop and maintain high-quality code, conduct thorough code reviews, and support cross-functional programming activities as needed.
About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced statistical programmer to take on a leadership role and drive the delivery of high-quality statistical programming services.

  • The Senior Statistical Programmer will work closely with project teams to ensure that all programming deliverables meet the required standards and are completed within agreed timelines.
  • They will also contribute to the development of new statistical programming methodologies and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience as a CDISC/TLF Statistical Programmer in a Pharmaceutical/CRO environment, preferably with education in a scientific discipline.
  • An understanding of GCP principles and other regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EMA, and ICH guidance and recommendations) in Clinical Research.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to process scientific and medical data.
  • Expert statistical programming skills in SAS, with familiarity with R, Python, or other relevant statistical software considered beneficial.
