At ADCI - BLR 14 SEZ, we are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to join our Last Mile Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge technologies to automate Under the Roof operations globally.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts across multiple teams to develop optimal solutions.
- Create a roadmap, align with business partners on prioritization, propose appropriate tradeoffs, and clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
- Establish planning mechanisms to deliver on your roadmap, demonstrate strong operational excellence, and maintain a high code quality bar.
- Deep dive into complex business use cases and system dependencies, and work backwards from the customer to propose solutions that solve business and customer needs.
- 7+ years of engineering experience.
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers.
