Treasury Expert Role

  • Job Description:
  • As a Treasury Expert, you will be responsible for demonstrating comprehensive understanding of various treasury products.
  • Key areas include Foreign Exchange (Cash, Tom, Spot, Forwards, LTFX) and Derivatives (Options, Swaps, Caps, Floors, FRAs, Structured derivatives).
  • Additionally, Fixed Income (Government Securities) and Money Market (Call/Notice/Term/Repo/Reverse repo/Commercial papers/Certificate of Deposits) products will be managed.
  • Deal Life Cycle Management involves thorough knowledge of all stages within a treasury deal life cycle.
  • Core treasury functions including treasury accounting, risk management, and internal controls must be handled to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
  • Fund and Custody Management requires contributing to the efficient and secure handling of assets.
  • Liquidity & Interest Rate Risk Management involves actively participating in the management of liquidity risk and interest rate risk.
  • Strategies must be implemented to mitigate exposure and optimize financial performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement demands effective management of relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Reporting entails assisting with deliverables and engagement documentation preparation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration requires maintaining strong internal and external networks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Foreign Exchange and Derivatives products is essential.
  • Experience in Treasury Accounting, Risk & Controls is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of Fund and Custody management is required.
  • Understanding of Liquidity and Interest risk management is crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills (writing, listening, presentation) are necessary.
  • Advanced technical skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) are desirable.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management abilities are expected.
