Executive Director of Strategic Planning

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic plans, driving business growth through innovative strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop long-term strategies aligned with market trends and business objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for growth in existing and emerging markets.
    • Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Business Development:
    • Explore new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to drive revenue growth.
    • Lead initiatives to enter new markets and launch new products, ensuring alignment with company goals.
    • Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures to optimize business performance.
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting:
    • Conduct thorough market research and develop forecasting models to inform strategic planning.
    • Provide data-driven insights to the executive team to inform strategic decisions.
  • Operational Alignment:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic initiatives are integrated into operational plans.
    • Work closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution.
    • Monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives and adjust plans as needed to optimize business outcomes.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing strategy team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

    • Ensure the strategy team is equipped with the skills and resources needed to drive success.
  • Financial Analysis and Budgeting:

    • Presents strategic plans and financial forecasts to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and investors.
    • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, showcasing expertise and thought leadership.
    • Communicate strategic plans and progress to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in strategic roles within the industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful business strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the industry and its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Leadership skills: Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
