Job Title: Area Growth Manager

  • This role involves overseeing end-to-end sales and distribution processes in a designated area.

Duties:

Distribution Management
  • The incumbent will strategize, implement, and monitor distributor relationships, ensuring timely product availability.
  • Motivate channel partners for business growth and ROI enhancement.
  • Create and adhere to inventory management processes at distributors and regional levels.
  • Implement stock condition monitoring and secondary claim management systems.
Growth Management
  • The geography's secondary and primary management is under the responsibility of this role.
  • Track monthly and quarterly sales progressions.
  • Ensure weekly performance improvement and SKUs' availability.
  • Foster NPD development and manage CFA operations effectively.
  • Monitor competition and benchmark regionally.
  • Guarantee basic distribution standards (Productivity, ECO, LPPC etc.).
Spend Management
  • This role employs a channel-specific approach tailored to the RE segment.
  • Coordinate trade load planning to drive volume visibility.
  • Manage sales returns efficiently.
People Management
  • This position is responsible for creating a positive work environment across the region.
  • Oversee expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness within the region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFA/HE/Finance/Marketing).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and distribution in FMCG Industry is required.
  • Strong knowledge of geography is essential.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are necessary.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, are crucial.
  • Team management and grievances management skills are vital.
  • Time management is also an essential aspect of this role.
