Reinsurance Actuaries drive strategic business decisions by analyzing and quantifying risk across property and casualty (P&C) insurance products. This role is ideal for experienced professionals looking to optimize their skills in loss reserve reviews, reserving methods, and actuarial calculations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Reserving Team to estimate reserves and perform loss development, loss ratio, and loss triangle analyses.
  • Develop and apply various reserving methods and techniques to determine liabilities.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis and actuarial calculations to assess risks and recommend optimal reserve levels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to reserving, including Solvency II or IFRS 17 requirements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and finance departments to align reserve estimates with business goals and financial reporting requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, or actuarial sciences.
  • At least 5 years of experience in P&C insurance reserving with strong knowledge of reserving methods and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, SAS, and other relevant tools for data analysis and modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
