Modeling Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Modeling Analyst to develop, maintain, and optimize models in the Variable Product Modeling System (VPMS). As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, actuaries, and developers to translate business requirements into VPMS logic.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and refine complex models within the VPMS framework.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to interpret business needs and translate them into actionable model solutions.
  • Debug and test models to ensure accuracy, performance, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed models, facilitating easy maintenance and updates.
  • Support the deployment and version control of VPMS models in production environments, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in VPMS modeling, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Deep understanding of life insurance, annuities, or financial products, along with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Strong programming skills, with expertise in writing, maintaining, and debugging VPMS scripts and business rules.
  • Familiarity with integrating VPMS with other platforms or systems, enabling seamless data exchange and synchronization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
