Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Underwriting Manager Reinsurance professional to lead our team in delivering timely and accurate underwriting support and related services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treaty reinsurance contracts, with expertise in evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting these contracts across multiple lines of business.

Additionally, the successful applicant will have excellent collaboration skills, with experience working with internal and external stakeholders to support day-to-day activities and meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

To be successful in this role, you will need 8+ years of relevant experience in the Reinsurance and Treaty industry in Underwriting, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

This is a senior leadership position that requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze treaty reinsurance contracts
  • Develop and implement underwriting strategies
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Ensure adherence to underwriting authority guidelines and compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Reinsurance and Treaty underwriting
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
