Job Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and modeling skills, with a comprehensive understanding of data modeling concepts. They should be able to create and deliver high-quality models that adhere to established governance and standards.

  • Support the delivery of complex transformation initiatives within data portfolios.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop world-class products that meet customer requirements.
  • Elicit and analyze business change, functional, and non-functional requirements across stakeholders.
  • Own and produce relevant analysis and modeling artifacts for development teams.
  • Understand user journeys end-to-end and provide advanced business knowledge and technical support for requirements development.
  • Create/enhance logical and physical data models to fulfill business and technical requirements.
  • Undertake metadata analysis, including naming logical entities and attributes, physical tables and columns, definitions, and data types.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 4-10 years of experience in data analysis and/or data modeling.
  • Strong financial domain and data analysis skills, including requirement gathering, elicitation, gap analysis, data analysis, effort estimation, reviews, and database design.
  • A deep understanding of data modeling concepts, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, consistent, unambiguous, reliable, accessible, traceable, and valid metadata and data-related artifacts.
  • Be an individual contributor with a good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Be a team player with a self-starter approach, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
