About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Operations and Compliance Manager to join our team at Softobiz. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of IT projects, driving business growth, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project operations, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting project deliverables. You will develop and implement project plans, manage project resources, and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.

You will also lead the process for obtaining CMMI Level 3 accreditation, conduct readiness assessments, implement process improvements, manage formal appraisal processes, and ensure ongoing compliance with CMMI standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Operations: Oversee project operations, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting project deliverables.
  • CMMI Accreditation: Drive the process for obtaining CMMI Level 3 accreditation, conduct readiness assessments, implement process improvements, manage formal appraisal processes, and ensure ongoing compliance with CMMI standards.
  • Compliance Dashboard Development: Lead the creation and deployment of a comprehensive compliance dashboard to monitor and report key metrics.
  • Financial Governance and Resource Management: Oversee and manage operational and capital expenditures, implement cost-saving initiatives, and maintain high levels of resource utilization to ensure project and financial efficiency.
  • Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation: Implement and maintain a QMS to achieve and uphold ISO 9001 certification, perform internal audits, manage non-conformities, and ensure continuous improvement in line with quality management standards.
  • Privacy and Security Standards Enhancement: Manage the enhancement of privacy and security standards, including the upgrade and extension of ISO/IEC 27001 standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 13 years' experience in IT, with substantial expertise in project management and process consultancy.
  • Skills: Proven track record of managing IT projects using Agile methodologies and Scrum processes, strong familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and CMMI standards, experience in leading cross-functional teams, and excellent leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • CMMI Accreditation Experience: Experience with CMMI accreditation processes.
  • Advanced MS Office Skills: Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
