IT Compliance and Governance Manager

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Compliance and Governance Manager to join our team at Genpact. This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of IT compliance, governance, and risk management.

About the Role:

The IT Compliance and Governance Manager will be responsible for driving the implementation and maintenance of a GRC framework for the global IT function. This includes conducting IT technical and process compliance assessments, identifying gaps and opportunities, and developing corrective actions to address needs.

The ideal candidate will have good experience in IT compliance, security, or audit/risk management, as well as international experience and project management skills. They should also be able to learn quickly, work independently, and maintain professional skepticism and critical thinking.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be highly fluent in English and have a strong understanding of FDA, HIPAA, PCI, Quality Systems Management, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive implementation and maintenance of a GRC framework for the global IT function.
  • Conduct IT technical and process compliance assessments based on established GRC framework.
  • Identify gaps/opportunities/key risks and work with control/process owners to develop corrective actions to address needs.
  • Design and execute IT site audits to assess adequacy, operational effectiveness, and adherence to the company's policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct annual IT policy review with business owners and technical subject matter experts.
  • Update and maintain IT policies in accordance with the GRC framework and changing regulatory needs.
  • Educate stakeholders on governance and compliance concepts across the organization.
  • Responsible for training, mentoring, directing, and validating the work of less experienced/knowledgeable staff.
  • Work with auditors and technical subject matter experts to coordinate internal and external audit requirements.
Requirements:
  • Good experience in IT compliance, security, or audit/risk management.
  • International experience.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and maintain professional skepticism and critical thinking.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly fluent in English.
  • Strong understanding of FDA, HIPAA, PCI, Quality Systems Management, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations.
Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
