Our team serves over 5,000 customers, including leading multinational companies in the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets for the region and accounts.
2. Develop new regional markets and expand sales organizations in line with the strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
3. Identify opportunities where BDP's products and service solutions can add value and drive efficiencies within customers' supply chain demands.
4. Understand category-vertical and product-specific landscapes and trends and achieve a minimum new sales ROI target of 4x of the overall sales cost.
5. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
6. Develop a focused approach to sell all product lines across verticals, not restricting to Ocean, Air freight forwarding, but leveraging on companies' in-house product strengths like Customs clearance, Contract Logistics, Port+ Solutions, CFS, Trade compliance, LLP, Multimodal solutions, and Surface transport.
7. Present monthly regional dashboards of new wins, opportunities, P&L, and key highlights to PSA BDP management.
8. Ensure all sales opportunities, wins, and events are updated in the salesforce tool and maintain the salesforce CRM tool to monitor team sales opportunities, win/lost ratio.
9. Adhere to companies' FCPA policies and guidelines while onboarding any new business and ensuring all sales activities comply with government norms as per industry and company policies.
10. Oversee the need, development, and implementation of various modules effectively at the regional level as per requirement and oversee the planning and execution of volumes for the center with a focus on individual productivity and capacity monitoring at the micro (individual) and center (macro) levels.
11. Ensure proper methods/techniques are used to achieve the highest levels of quality and service to meet client goals and expectations, including vendor management, supervision of assignments, collating weekly reports, and mentoring staff.
12. Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
13. Ensure service measures are met in accordance with specified Turn Around Time (TAT).
