Job Title: SAP Project System Lead

 

About the Role

As a seasoned leader, we are seeking an experienced professional to spearhead the design, build, and configuration of applications with a strong focus on SAP Project System (PS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving collaboration across teams, overseeing application development, and ensuring successful project delivery that aligns with organizational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP Project System (PS), providing expert guidance and support to the team.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team, ensuring accountability for decisions and outcomes, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to key organizational decisions, utilizing your expertise to drive strategic growth and development.
  • Provide effective solutions to complex problems within the immediate team and across multiple teams, leveraging your analytical skills and technical knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
  • Facilitate training and skill development opportunities for team members, empowering them to excel in their roles and achieve their full potential.
  • Oversee and monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery, and maintaining a keen eye on project metrics and performance indicators.
  • Ensure application design, configuration, and development meet organizational standards and business objectives, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

 

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong expertise in SAP Project System (PS) with a minimum of 7.5 years of hands-on experience, including a deep understanding of project management methodologies and their application in SAP PS.
  • A proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in application design, build, and configuration, with a solid understanding of integration processes and tools related to SAP PS.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues effectively, and make informed decisions that drive business success.

 

A Plus

The following skills are desirable:

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles, with excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Familiarity with other SAP modules and cross-functional integrations, with a solid understanding of the interdependencies between different systems and processes.
