Requirements for the role include:

  • CCS/CPC certification
  • 8+ years of experience in medical coding
  • Prior team handling experience
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Proficient in coding all outpatient type charts
  • Proven ability to lead a team environment and drive results
