As a Master Data Professional, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining data accuracy and integrity within our SAP-ERP system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, creating, and maintaining master data integrity in the SAP-ERP system.
- Supporting current processes and analyzing and resolving SAP-related issues.
- Identifying and supporting efforts to enhance efficiencies, service levels, accuracy, and reduce costs associated with maintenance and creation of master data.
- Supporting key projects and business processes for creating, changing, and deleting SAP Master Data.
- Providing training and support for material master request forms.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance, to create and maintain part numbers and master data.
- Managing Engineering Change Notification/Engineering Change Request control.
- Providing technical data to Logistics and Trade Compliance Teams for HSN code allotment of commodities.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics or ETC Engineering/Mechanical Engineering, with 4-5 years of experience.
- Or, a Diploma with specialization in Electronics & Communications or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, with 7-8 years of experience.
Additionally, you should possess:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Systems.
- Understanding of BOM & Routing structure and ability to read product drawings.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing working environment.
- Demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with personnel of various levels and disciplines.
- Ability to regularly contact, influence, and negotiate with internal and external individuals on complex issues.
- Basic knowledge of fiber optics.
