Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS cloud operations specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, CI/CD tools, and container orchestration.

This role is responsible for deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. This includes configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps or similar tools, as well as working with Terraform/CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The successful candidate will implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana. They will also manage and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS, collaborating with development teams to automate and streamline build, test, and deployment processes.

Ensuring security best practices in cloud environments is crucial, including IAM roles, policies, and VPC configurations. Troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment-related issues in a timely manner is also essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). They should have 1+ years of experience in AWS DevOps / Cloud Engineering.

Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.) is required, as well as proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Good understanding of Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) is necessary, along with experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash/Python) is required, as well as basic understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Load Balancers, NAT).

Knowledge of version control using Git/GitHub/GitLab is also essential.

Good to Have

Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana) is beneficial. Knowledge of AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Associate concepts is also desirable. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
