About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to design, implement and manage enterprise AWS infrastructure focusing on high availability.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining infrastructure standards and best practices documentation, implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions with proactive alerting, and managing cloud costs and implementing optimization strategies.

Additional responsibilities include building and maintaining infrastructure automation solutions, participating in 24x7 on-call support rotation, conducting detailed infrastructure and application assessment for migration planning, and executing staged migrations with proper testing and validation.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. They will also have experience in hybrid cloud scenarios between AWS and Azure, knowledge of Azure monitoring and management tools, and understanding of Azure identity and access management.

In terms of technical skills, the ideal candidate will have proficiency in AWS CLI and SDK, Python scripting for AWS automation, PowerShell scripting for Windows workloads, and Git for version control. They will also have experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and GitHub Actions.
